The grand lobby bar embraces guests, perfect for after work drinks and a night shared with friends. The dining room offers a modern vintage experience in a comfortable setting with a rotating menu and carefully crafted wine list.

Executive Chef, Hawthorn Dining & Bar

Dave has over 12 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Dave started his career at the Opus Hotel in Vancouver and in 2009 relocated to Calgary where he began working as Chef de Partie at the iconic Rush restaurant. Dave was quickly promoted to Sous Chef, followed by Executive Chef. After several years in Calgary, he relocated to Montreal and wrote the Omakase tasting menu for Park restaurant.

In 2017, Dave worked as Corporate Executive Chef at Murrieta’s where he oversaw operations in both Calgary and Canmore. 

Dave was awarded Calgary’s Gold Medal Plate in 2014 and 2018.
